I wish I had advice for you, but I hear ...Oh lordy. I wish I had advice for you, but I hear this about 800x a day at work (I work in the kids section of a bookstore). Literally 'can I have this? Please? Please? Please?' all day long. I think it's normal! Most kids have this impression that they deserve to be equal to adults and get something in the stores if adults do. I think sometimes it's nice to treat them and be like "You know that normally I say no, but today you *insert thing he did well today* so you can spend 5$." It's good for you to stand your ground as well, of course! But in my experience reward presents tend to work wonders and kids are super blissed out about it :)

Best of luck! melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04054076806925773231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9082161117371051632.post-20433761526648605012013-07-17T21:05:45.575-05:002013-07-17T21:05:45.575-05:00Oh my goodness. I can 100% relate to this post. Do...Oh my goodness. I can 100% relate to this post. Dom does this to me ALL the time. When I say we're going to Target to get a few things, he'll say "Yay! We're buying toys!" And nothing I say will stop him from asking, begging, whining, crying, etc. I don't have any advice for you, sorry, but you have my utmost sympathy!! xoMia @ The Chronicles of Chaoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08982605259699460062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9082161117371051632.post-89478914279748175502013-07-17T10:22:37.054-05:002013-07-17T10:22:37.054-05:00You're not kidding! I hear that every time we...You're not kidding! I hear that every time we leave the house to times 3. Yeah, it's only $5 but if everyone gets a $5 it's now $15+ and most of the time they end up losing it outside or breaking it. They get allowance too but that's usually gone within seconds.

I wish I had an answer but it's plaguing me too. And if I hear "You can just buy me another one" again, I'll scream.
